English Language Requirement

It is an essential safety as well as operational requirement that all pilots operating in Australia or wishing to hold an Australian Flight Crew Licence be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Applicants must provide evidence that their standard of English has met the requirements of IELTS (academic module) of at least 6.0. These assesments may be undertaken within your own country at the nearest Australian consular office.

Optionally students may take the TOFEL test or the new Pearson English test.
