Your Aircraft on Hot and Cold Days

Over the past few weeks, Melbourne has experienced some of the hottest days on record.  On these particular days, the performance of your aircraft, especially the engine and power produced, can be noticably affected.

How do you recognise when conditions are significant, and what action can you take to minimise or elimate these affects.

RVAC will hold a members information night on Thursday 19th February at the Aero Bar at 7:30pm  Noel Mann, one of our new instructors, will explain how hot and cold days, and runways, can affect us as pilots.

To aid us in setting up the venue, can we ask you to contact Helen if you are attending and advise of how many in your party
