Coldstream RA Instructor Training Commences  

Our Recreational Aviation (RA) Instructor training course has now been approved and enquiries are welcomed for a course starting in July.

The minimum RA-Aus. course requirements are 20 hours of dual flight instruction and 30 hours of ground briefings.

The briefing sessions, which will be conducted in small groups, consists of the Principles and Methods of Instruction course as well as the full set of instructor-student briefings.

Minimum experience for the instructor rating test is 75 hours of RA solo experience or 100 hours of GA experience including 25 hours in command.  More details of this can be found in the RA-Aus. Operations Manual at www.raa.asn.au.
