Coldstream Now Fully Operational  

The Flying school at Coldstream is now fully operational.  Dick Gower and Bob Boyd are again instructing with the RVAC.

In addition to the CASA school, which offers private hire and training right through to Commercial and Flight Instructor standard, the Club has a Recreational Aviation School (RA) using Tecnam and Jabiru aircraft.

The Coldstream facility is thus able to offer an integrated training course using the best features of both systems.

The integrated system starts with RA training up to the pilot certificate standard and then, should the student wish, the change is made to the GA system for the PPL/CPL. The RA hours are fully credited against the GA requirements.

We can also advise members on the relatively easy path from private licence to an RA pilot certificate where they may enjoy the sport aviation benefits of lower costs and simple administration.

We also cater for aerobatics and formation training and an RA instructor course is planned to start in the very near future.
