Australian Light Aircraft Championships - Success Stories  

Last week our representatives traveled to Mandurah in WA (an hour south of Perth) to compete in the ALAC’s. A huge congratulations to all that attended and particularly those who achieved success. When you see them around the club, make sure they receive a pat on the back.

 

Following the ALAC’s, Stuart Rushton (President) and Paul Canavan (Vice President) attended the annual conference of the Royal Federation of Aero Clubs. This was an opportunity for delegates to discuss the future of Aero Clubs and aviation in Australia.

 

International Wings v New Zealand – New Zealand won by winning Forced Landings, Spot Landings & Aerobatics (RVAC Falcons represented Australia won the Formation event)

  1. New Zealand (not eligible for Australian Championship)
  2. RVAC Eagles (Australian Champions) - Heinz Dehn, Robert Bright & Paul Canavan

Federation Trophy was won by RVAC Eagles.

 

Andrew Stopp 6th in the individual Overall Championship.
