Attendance Requirements
These are full-time courses. You will be required to meet minimum ‘contact hour’ requirements. You can reasonably expect to be at RVAC 5 days each week.
It is a Government requirement that you meet at least 80% of the planned training sessions in each nominal ‘semester’ (13 week period). If it becomes evident at any time that you cannot achieve this target, RVAC is obligated to inform Department of Immigration and citizenship and your visa status may be affected.
Longer courses have in-built allowance for leave periods so that you may return home if you wish. You are not obliged to take any of these leave periodsand may thereby shorten the overall duration of the course. Any leave which you do take must be applied for in writing and approved beforehand.
