FLY Neighbourly Map

Circuit altitude 1500 ft QNH i.e., 1250 AGL. All circuits to the east, to avoid conflict with Lilydale traffic. Lilydale airfield is 3nm to the NW of CEM.

  • The circuit is 1-1½ nautical mile wide. The downwind leg being approx ½ way out to Steeles Hill, a heavily wooded, clearly defined 1384 ft feature, approximately 3 nm east of CEM.

  • The southern leg (crosswind 17 or base 35) is oblique to the circuit; track along the power lines.

  • Inbound traffic should overfly the field at 2000 QNH, avoiding the sensitive area, descend to circuit altitude to the west of the field and join crosswind as in the diagram. Crosswind for R/W 35 must be to the north of Killara Road and crosswind for R/W17 must follow the power lines. Departing traffic must not overfly the  sensitive area below 2000ft QNH.

No operations other than the above are permitted within the circut area.
